If you are allowing a caregiver into your home, you probably have questions about the process and procedures. Victorias’ Home Care wants you to understand what can be done to help you and your loved one.

Care Plan

At Victorias’ Home Care, a Registered Nurse will develop a care plan in conjunction with the client and/or family. This care plan will be reviewed on an ongoing basis and a copy of the care plan is kept in the premises at all times for your caregiver to review regularly.

What Does “Round-The-Clock Care” Mean?

To ensure the safety of your loved one, one of our caregivers will be in your home 24/7. This can be done with a live-in caregiver who has their own bedroom. It can also be by schedule with different caregivers over multiple shifts.

Live-in caregivers will be in your home for weeks at a time to provide 24-hour attention. They do sleep at night, but will be close by in case of an emergency.

Shift caregivers will not leave until they are relieved by another caregiver, so the client is never left alone. Night-shift caregivers do NOT sleep while on the clock.

If an assigned staff member is not available due to an unforeseen issue, every effort is made to assign another staff member to take their place.

What Happens If The Caregiver Isn't A Good Fit?

It's the intention of Victorias’ Home Care to have the best possible fit with personality and services for our client. Getting to know your caregiver takes time. Therefore, we strive to maintain consistency with scheduling. Every effort will be made by Victorias’ Home Care to ensure that an amicable and trusting relationship is developed.

Is There A Minimum Contract Cost?

There is a three-hour visit minimum on our care services, and we can usually begin working within one to three days of the initial call. You can discontinue our services whenever you like. Call us at 610-544-3037 to discuss rates.

How Do We Differ From other Home Care Providers?

We have a loyal staff. Our owners, Maria and Terry, have had loved ones who have needed home care assistance, therefore they fully understand the issues that arise.

Our staffing coordinators are available 24/7. You will have a specific coordinator assigned to help oversee and coordinate your loved one's care. We don't use an answering service, so you'll always speak directly to a member of our team.

We routinely contact clients to ensure that they are receiving the level of care needed. All information obtained will be relayed to all appropriate personnel. Supervisory visits by our registered nurses will also be conducted every 30 to 60 days depending on the client.
